Actors in Hollywood are going to be out of jobs (or reduced to ,literally, speaking roles only) in ten years , tops.

Let me explain.

I should have expected this from "The Mouse", because "The Mouse "has untold bank.Ergo, they can afford the best CGI animation out there. And that is what is in this movie.

Photorealistic CGI, INCLUDING FULL DAYLIGHT SCENES, is worth the ticket price.I saw this movie TWICE and STILL could not tell where the make up and pixel began and ended.

This movie is visually the best Hollywood has to offer, and literally blows away the other movies (including a guy in red and blue), and I can see how this broke all the box office records.

Now , you have to watch the first movie to understand the plot, and when I watched the first movie, I just didn't get the plot.I just like pirate movies, which are not in abundance from Hollywood.

The acting is , well, it's a fucking pirate movie, for God's sake!

About Depp.

In the second movie, that "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow" shit just got old, and if this franchise gets darker in the third movie, his schtick as this goofy ass pirate just won't mesh.

This movie, unfortunately, is a complete and total set up for the third movie. That pissed me off, but you just get overwhelmed with the CGI that you forget it until the very end of the movie,THEN you get mad as hell.

Just llike the shit they did with "The Matrix" trilogy" cliffhanger at the end of the second movie" shit.

So, given the unbelievable realistic CGI in THIS movie, the third movie may make up for the plot of this second installmentin the franchise.I really hope the third movie is much darker, and becomes a "real" pirate movie.I want more violence. This second movie is not very violent, more "funride" kind of vibe.

The beginning of the movie starts out as the grim, violent pirate movie, complete with rotting corpses and dungeons ."The Mouse" probably saw that, and said"Fuck that!".

Then the fucking amusement park ride takes over, and we get the REST of the movie.

I want to see more walking the plank, gutting by cutlass, torture, killings, you know, a "Pirate" movie.

They DID shoot a bird.
